beginning to change here
for a week or more it's
been obvious they were
going dormant like hermits.
Sleep dendrite watchers,
now the stars in their longer
visits will watch us, chronicle
our foibles, success and
keep us safe with their glow.
These impassive eyes of nature
know the intimacy of our souls.
